Functional Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
Next Health Calabasas
Woodland Hills, CA
$170,000 - $200,000 a year
Full-time
Full job description
Calabasas, CA · Full-time or part-time · On-site · No nights, no weekends, no on-call
Compensation: choose the path that fits you
Full-Time: Up to $170,000 base salary + quarterly performance bonuses (full-time)
Part-Time: Competitive per-diem base + performance payout tied to wellness revenue (uncapped). Available full-time or part-time. Top performers earn well above the salaried track.
Read this first — this is not an entry-level functional medicine role
This is the only advanced-practice provider on-site, and you are the clinical engine of the location. Our members come to Next Health specifically for advanced longevity and regenerative therapies, and they expect a provider who can deliver them confidently from day one. If you have not independently run these therapies in practice, this role is not the right fit, and that's okay. We're looking for the experienced exception, not a generalist we'll train from scratch.
Two things are non-negotiable — you must already have hands-on, independent experience with:
Bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) — full work-up, dosing, and management for men and women
Peptide therapy — independent protocol design and management
We will train you on the rest. The following are a strong plus but not required, if you have them, even better; if not, we'll teach you:
EBOO (extracorporeal blood oxygenation and ozonation)
Therapeutic plasma exchange (TPE)
Other regenerative medicine protocols
IV and NAD+ therapy and broader health-optimization protocols
You should also be confident ordering and, critically, interpreting advanced diagnostic labwork, translating specialty panels into a protocol the patient understands and buys into.
If BHRT and peptides are already part of how you practice, keep reading — this is one of the best advanced-practice roles in Los Angeles.
Why this role beats a standard NP/PA job
A full patient funnel, handed to you. Our marketing and front desk fill your schedule with motivated, health-invested members. You don't build a panel from scratch.
The full longevity toolkit, in-house. BHRT, peptides, regenerative medicine, EBOO, TPE, IV/NAD+, advanced diagnostics, hyperbaric — the modalities most NPs and PAs never get to touch.
You're the Medical Provider. As the on-site advanced-practice provider, you own the patient relationship end to end, working with an affluent, committed Calabasas clientele that invests in their health and follows through.
Protected schedule and real flexibility. Full-time or part-time, on-site, with no nights, weekends, or call.
Growth. Next Health is expanding. Strong performers move into lead clinical, training, and multi-site roles as we grow.
What you'll do
Run comprehensive consultations and build personalized longevity and health-optimization protocols
Independently order and interpret advanced labs and specialty panels, and turn them into a clear, compelling plan
Deliver and manage BHRT, peptide and regenerative protocols, EBOO, TPE, and IV/NAD+ therapies within your scope
Educate members so they stay engaged and get long-term results — the foundation of how this clinic grows
Document cleanly in our EMR and collaborate with our supervising physician and wellness team
What you'll bring
Required
MSN + APRN certification (NP) or MPAS / equivalent graduate degree + PA certification
Current, valid California NP or PA licensure
Active DEA / furnishing (dispensing) license — you are the on-site prescriber, so this is essential to delivering our therapies and the revenue tied to them
Independent, hands-on experience managing bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT)
Independent, hands-on experience with peptide therapy (outside just GLP-1s)
Minimum 2 years in functional / anti-aging / longevity medicine
Strong ability to interpret advanced diagnostics and communicate a plan that earns patient buy-in
Highly preferred (we'll train the right candidate)
Experience with EBOO and therapeutic plasma exchange (TPE)
Experience with regenerative medicine and IV / NAD+ therapy
NP autonomous practice designation (can be applied for after hire)
Prior experience in a cash-pay, concierge, or luxury wellness setting
Benefits
Healthcare coverage · 401(k) (full-time candidate) · Paid time off · Generous employee discounts on services supportive, excellence-driven team culture
Next Health is redefining health optimization by integrating cutting-edge medical innovation with preventative, data-driven wellness, delivered in luxury clinical environments. We're expanding rapidly across the U.S. and looking for exceptional providers to grow with us.
Next Health is an Equal Opportunity employer committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. All qualified applicants will be considered without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, gender identity or expression, or any other protected characteristic, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, including the California Fair Chance Act.
