Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Software Systems Engineer to join our innovative technology team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems that drive our business forward. Your expertise will help ensure our customers can access and control their harsh-environment electronics (from UI to Hardware). Duties

  • Design and develop scalable, reliable software systems utilizing system architecture principles and best practices in solution architecture.

  • Conduct system hardening, vulnerability assessments, threat intelligence analysis, and vulnerability management to uphold information security standards.

  • Troubleshoot debugging issues across multiple programming languages such as JavaScript, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, VBA, Shell Scripting, and more to resolve technical challenges efficiently.

  • Participate in system design reviews for new projects involving system architecture planning with emphasis on scalability and security considerations.

  • Assist in the development of disaster recovery plans by implementing system backups.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced certifications in systems engineering or solution architecture are a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms

  • Hands-on experience with database management systems

  • Proficiency in scripting languages

  • Deep understanding of high pressure / high temperature electronics, data acquisition, and UI development

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex issues across multiple platforms and languages quickly. Pay: $120,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
